Mea Culpa... she was right!
Jun. 1st, 2007 12:15 pmYesterday (?)
pisceandreamer had an entry ranting about Starbucks chosing her milk and Google fucking up her reader. Honestly? I thought it was a little over the top. I don't drink milk in my coffee and I rarely buy coffee at Starbucks. And my Google reader was working fine and dandy, thankyouverymuch.
Until it stopped.
The first time I thought maybe my internet connection was screwed up. The Google reader page wouldn't refresh and then I could get to no web pages and then my email poll slowed to a crawl... That was on the desktop. The laptop appeared unaffected. So I told Vista it could download those upgrades it has been whining about for a week. It did. I rebooted all was fine. Until later it happened again. Then it recovered.
Then it happened on the laptop ... twice. I'm always pretty but sometimes I'm not quite so fast. But I finally did connect the dots.
It's back to Bloglines for me! And I do appologize,
pisceandreamer, I won't be so quick to poo poo your rants next time. And I'll give Starbucks a rasberry when I got down to get the mail (the condo mail boxes are positioned so that you can see out the front door and the front door is glass so you can see the building across the street and the building across the street is owned by Starbucks).
Until it stopped.
