Lost and Found
Jun. 5th, 2007 08:59 amThe up side of having stuff 'reorganized' by a two year old is that if you can't find something, your hunting ground is pretty much confined to anything under 30". Last night it took me no time to locate the ceiling fan remote control from it's new spot on the far end of the hallway bookshelf and replace it on the night stand.
And this morning alone, I've found $1.31 on the floor in the living room!

In other News of No Consequence... Jake as started his Summer abandonment. He started this a couple of years ago. In the winter, he's all over me. He's in my lap. He's on my keyboard. He's under me every time I roll over in bed at night. Then when it heats up, he's history. He has his new under the desk in the back corner spot and there he stays. Oh, he comes out for meals and last night he came by for a pat, but that was it. No sleeping in the bed. No sharing the chaise. He's down for the Summer.
And Betty goes on duty. She sleeps by my ear. She dances on my keyboard. She snuggles on the chaise. She's my new best friend.
The feline agenda is a mysterious thing.
