susandennisToday has been a very heads down day. Very. But, a good one. I'm 2 whole days ahead on one project. I am going to need those two days towards the end of the week so I'm glad happy to be ahead.

Betty has kind of backed off from Velcro Kitty. But she's clearly in 'it's all fine as long as you stay within my sight at all times' mode. My neighbor called about 2 to say that the unit across the hall from her (and down the hall from me) was having an open house. So... off I went. I left my door open and when I came back, Betty was in front of my door in the hall looking for all the world like she had totally been abandoned. Ditto when I went to get the mail.
Then at 5 p.m. (dinner time) I was at a crucial point in one page so she had to wait for dinner. A whole 20 minutes. I dished it out. She looked and walked away.

The unit that we saw today is the one that is only a little bigger than mine and priced at $550. Now I know why. The woman who owned it has made MAJOR upgrades. She used up some of her hallway width to make the bedroom, half bath and second room way bigger and then she closed in the second room with a real door. And in between she had a bazillion closets built in. And special lighting and a fancy fireplace surround and a bunch of other stuff. Way fancy. PLUS... she has NO TREE! She has a clear view out her terrace. I have such envy.

The Mariners are playing in Wrigley Field which is kind of fun. I think interleague play is mostly silly but I'm ok with the Chicago deal. Especially since we are currently ahead.

I think I'll polish off a couple of more bugs before I call it a day.
