Action in my front yard

Well, we have activity! Although I'm not sure I get the connection, they are having basketball games in the parking lot to mark the opening of the new football stadium. I did a very kludgy job of pasting together a panoramic picture of the activity so far. The balls started bouncing at 8 a.m. and, I suspect, the action will pick up as the day goes along... The Car Guys are trying to give me car advice over the din of referee whistles and balls bouncing and people cheering the more than 50 different games going on. It's kind of an interesting symphony of sound.

Love the clock tower in the distance. Looks a bit like Big Ben.

The clock tower is atop the Amtrak station - remember your list of words overheard at the Seattle Amtrack station? Well, there it is!

The panoramic shot gives a good idea of what it is like there. I like the looks of the new stadium (I checked out some of the pics of it on your site).

My place overlooks a parking lot, too, but nothing interesting happens there, other than vehicles arriving and leaving.

I am very lucky, even on a dull day, there is always something going on and, if not, over those buildings is often the most amazing sky. And sometimes, rainbows.
