Whereas last January, I could really only manage buying a thing or two at Costco before I ran out of steam, now I can shop for a long - and expensive - time.  But, the goods are in and put away.  The meat is portioned and in the freezer.  The laundry is done and nearly all folded and put away.  Betty landed on top of the last little pile before I could get to it so I'm just going to let her do her laundry wallowing.  What will it hurt?  She looks so triumphant.

The Mariners are getting pelted by Houston.  Chicago killed 'em for 2 and then they went to Houston who has had them for lunch now three days in a row.  My brother's son was going to be in Houston today and go to the game.  He's never seen Ichiro play.  If he pretends to be a Houston fan with a love of Ichiro he's having a great day.

I have lots of work work to do but the system is still not available.  I decided not to worry about it.  It would be nice to get a jump on tomorrow but that's the way it goes.

I organized my audio books today.  Some are only available on CD (from the library) so I have to rip each CD.  A regular sized book has 10 or more and each CD has about 17 to 20 mp3's.  The organization of all these individual files is a pain in the ass.  I finally did some research and found a nifty little utility that joins them all together easily and quickly.  So I can have one mp3 per CD OR one mp3 per book!  This makes it far easier to manage on the Zen.

The weather here is just susandennis perfect today.  It's a little cool and overcast with a breeze.  This is the kind of day I'd like to bottle up and just keep on the shelf for use when needed.
