10 a.m. I'm just getting into my work work when bam... no juice anywhere. None. It would have been dead quiet except the band is having the world longest sound check.
I knew I had no capacity for dealing with no electricity. And I was right. I made the bed and looked for a decent portable radio and finally remembered that my zen gets FM! Then I moved this stuff here and put that stuff away and then got the Lifebook (longest battery life) and played Bounce Out figuring that if no juice in an hour, I'd pack up and head over to the coffee shop.
10:50. We have light!! We have fan!! We have A/C!! and I hit buttons and we have computers! Ahhhh
Nothing like a little electrical interuptus to make you grateful. I'm very grateful and now I'm also starving. So I think we're going to do lunch before we get back to work.
