Well, my aforemention host woke up and the servers came back on line but it was time to bail anyway. So I set up a new account with my other hosting company and proceeded to load more than 4000 image files. You have no idea the level of excitement that generates.

Then if that wasn't enough, while the batches where going up the pipe, I went down to the copy shop to get my knitting pattern copied and then color coded it so I could follow better. Tedius yes but oh so much better. The hard part was finding highlighters. I have 5,747* different instruments of writing in this house - why oh why is a highlighter so hard to find??? (*estimate only and probably low - I have office supply issues)

The files are all loaded now and the name servers are pointing towards their new home... 12-72 hours and we'll be a done deal.

Tomorrow, I think, will be puzzle day.

Sounds like the end to Week #1 is here, and you've had a pretty good week!

I fired my ISP a couple of months ago. Their service was excellent, but their billing practices were irregular and I'd finally had enough. So far, so good.

Ah. I took a different approach by just getting the pipe. My Dog (http://www.rwhowell.com/index.htm) sleeps under the desk in my spare bedroom/office. My ISP is local too, but I absolutely hate it when they get gobbled up. I have been through that once already.
