susandennisI am, once again, waiting for Mr. Brown. I have, tucked away somewhere, a giant, serious blender that I probably got as a wedding present which would make it nearly 30 years old. Best I can recall, it runs ok, it's just big and ugly and I don't want it on my counter or taking up valuable easy access cupboard real estate.
So, while I crave a milkshake, I don't want to fuck with the ancient blender, even if I could find it. So I ordered new. A sleek, cheap, small, milkshake maker. Mr. Brown's website says it's 'out for delivery'.
I have ice cream. I have Hershey's syrup. I have banana. I am so ready. I'm monitoring the front door cam.

Ya never know who is a good enough googler to find you until you post an entry in which you probably could have been kinder. Last week, I posted an entry about Ken Levine - my favorite Mariner broadcaster who was back for a short replacement stint. This morning, there was a comment to that entry from Ken Levine himself!! It's likely that he found my entry a bit on the backhanded side of complementary. I did not take into consideration that he might have been out of practice and the game did have one of the most unusual plays of all times in his first inning... I did very much enjoy hearing him again and he did get back in the swing of things on the radio broadcast on Friday.
Plus... I didn't quite realize how good he actually was until the regular guy came back this weekend. Dave Sims, if you are reading this, please listen to yourself and quit saying stupid stuff.
My dream team would be Ken and Mike Blowers. Mike Blowers, if you are reading, you are turning into THE best baseball broadcaster ever. I love your take on the game, your interesting stories, your humility and your total lack of saying stupid stuff.
