Day 124 - 2

30 minutes on the treadmill.  I did play around with some speeds and some elevations but stayed there and got my 30 minutes in.  It was nice and cloudy and comfortable and kind of Tuesday lonely.  Not a lot of people or action.  I was worried that this would need to be a 10 word entry.  But, I was saved at the end.

My normal fun little front desk guy was there when I got there but he left while I was working out.  This happens a lot.  I'm pretty sure he has a day job.  When he's gone, I usually leave without even saying goodbye to anyone.

Today, I didn't even look at the guy at the desk and I was halfway out the door when I got a 'ma'm??!  you need to check out!' 

WTF?  Check out? 

He held a membership card under my nose and said 'is this you?' - the card said Kenneth Parker on it.  I assured him I was not Kenneth Parker.  I remember way back when I first joined there was something about a card.  Apparently, if you get a locker, they give you the key and put your card in a little slot and then you turn the key back in and your card goes somewhere.  I don't know.  When I assured her I would never need a locker she passed on the card thing.

Today the Front Door Nazi told me that I must 'check in and check out every single time!'.  I said fine and left.  I have no clue what he means by check in and check out.  If it were important, I'm pretty sure I would have stumbled over the process in four months of going in and out every single fucking day...  dude.

I love people on power trips.  They are so cute.  See you tomorrow.
