Bits and stuff
Jul. 29th, 2007 11:00 amBetty has developed the most wonderful habit. At night when I roll over or come back from peeing, if I lay on my back, she'll snuggle herself in between left arm and my side and rest her head on my shoulder and just relax her whole silky self into me. It's the most amazing feeling and she now does it ever time. Last night I did not even see her on the bed, rolled over and there she was ready to snuggle. It's heaven.

My NPR station had horrible reception this morning. I had to go dig out my 400 year old giant monster backup radio out of the closet to even get the station. I thought it was the clock radio but about an hour into the show, the local announcer finally fessed up. We have two NPR stations here in Seattle and they both have the same show on Sunday mornings. If I had figured out it was the station, I could have just tuned in the other one. But, I did manage to install the old, big back up radio under the bed behind the headboard where I can reach it to turn it off and on. Better than the closet.

And my morning paper was sans Parade this morning... it was blubbed on the front page but not in the stack. Bummer. Yeah I could call them but I'm too lazy to screw with it.
--
The coffee table is going to a new home today. Then I'll figure out what, if anything, needs to happen differently. It's way possible I won't even need a coffee table.

There are now six different units for sale in this building. For months we had none and now we have six. The Front Door network is getting a lotta action.

I'm going to uninstall Carbonite now.
