susandennisNice first... I got a very impressive acknowledgment letter from the Twilight Wish Foundation. My wish recipient is going to the September 8th Phillies game!!! Oh I hope they win that one. I really do. And this foundation is amazing. They are so getting more of my money.

My Clearwire modem arrived today. I have been heads down busy all day with no time to mess with it but I can't not mess with it. So I hauled out the Lifebook from the bedroom and used that to test. The instructions are simple and they must work for most people because there is no troubleshooting info at all. When they didn't work for me, the browser said to call so I did. Short message - for technical help punch 3. No rings. Christopher who asked me my phone number and my name and the serial number off the modem and in under 1 minute I was totally hooked up looking at my gmail.
Then between other things, I drug out my old Netgear router. I have no clue when I even used it or for what so no idea what the password was and couldn't figure out how to reset it. Finally got that noodled and plugged it in and BAM, I have a new network. It's called Free from Unit 413.
I've been using it for work for the past 2 hours. As luck would have it, I had to download a folder again that I had downloaded yesterday. It sure seemed faster to me. Zippy and perky and speedy.
I'm loving it so far. I've got 7 days to pound and poke it. But it's smelling very very good.
