I did not walk today. I am a slacker. I figured I would walk through the Home Show and that will count. But, it won't really. Plus, then Fran sends an email that she is walking from her house to mine (and then we will go to the home show). I think her house is about 7 miles from here (I know I could mapquest it and find out for sure but that would make me feel like an even bigger slacker). It is downhill but still.
I did vacuum and I did take a load of stuff to the dumpster and a load of stuff to the car for the GoodWill. Then I went into my storage area to get some plastic milk crates to help with sorting shit when I tackle the closets. It always smells funky and musty in there - it's in the sub basement of this 100 year old building.
Today it seemed worse than usual. I didn't linger - just got my stuff and got out but I could barely breathe... I coughed severely for a good 3 minutes as in couldn't get a good breath. There is something nasty going on in the storage area. I long ago quit using it for anything important since it 'shared' the stink with anything in there. And I've often said that if a flood came and ruined everything in there it would be a blessing.
Two things that must be done this week are - cleaning this desk area and filing all this crap and organizing those files. That could be a Saturday morning project if it doesn't get done sooner. And the other thing is the bathroom - someone needs to get in there and clean that floor and everything else. I guess I'll do it since no one else seems to be stepping up to the plate.
I'm starting to wonder if I shouldn't be getting a little more anxious than I am about no job action. I haven't heard a peep out of either of the contractor people. And I haven't contacted them, either. I've sent resumes here and there but without much of a plan or much conviction. Maybe next week, I'll get that organized.

Just my two cents. Then again lately all I am is a giant potato with two arms, legs and a mouth. Vegetable on duty here at the salt mines.
The sooner you look, the sooner you can assess the job market

Good luck to you.
