The new blood pressure medicine that my doctor prescribed is Amlodipine Besylate.  He said that the only potential side effect was swelling in my ankles and feet but that should be taken care of by the Hydrochlorothiazide which I'm also taking.

Anywho... the old stuff, after insurance paid...  cost me $400 a year.  This new stuff?  cost me $0 a year!! 

Please oh please let it work!
