susandennisMy blood pressure medication switch is only partially successful so far. I have been monitoring and my blood pressure is down but I just had another hot flash. I don't seem to be having as many but that may be my imagination. The whole thing may be my imagination. Oh well. I'm out of the expensive pills on Friday which also happens to be the day of my next doctor's appointment. We'll see what he has to say.
After my shower, I went out to breakfast. Last weekend, I remembered this little diner/cafe about 4 blocks from here. I hadn't been in there in years. It was not spectacular before but what the heck. So this morning I went. Not the world's greatest breakfast over all but it was comfortable and the service didn't suck and the bacon was out of this world. They will get another shot. I did remember why I didn't go back last time. No air conditioning. But, it was very pleasant in there this morning.
Now I'm home and just putzing around. We have a little launch of a few web pages on Monday. The group providing the content is totally out of control and the person in charge of controlling them is mia so I may well have some emergency updates to do this weekend. I promised I'd stay close to the RAS machine.
On the other side of The Tree That I Hate is the gathering of college students from the east. Washington State University is playing a football game in Qwest Field this afternoon. The 'hood is already filling up with these creatures. The game isn't until 4. I suspect there will be some drinking and howling and carrying on. It's a fun part of living down here. Then tomorrow is a Seahawks home game. Excitement around here for sure.
And the reason why I am likely not going anywhere in the car. I need a few grocery items but they are all things that the Japanese market carries so I'll hoof it over there later.
And I have TiVo to watch and the second DVD of Weeds Season II and teddy bears to knit and a lovely weekend sprawled in front of me to do it all. Very nice.
