Somewhere on the web today, I read about a very cool piece of software that enables you to stretch one image of wallpaper across two monitors.  I made a note to check it out later and I just did.

Display Fusion is a very cool piece of software.  It is tiny to download, simple to install.  Very easy to start up and you can even, from within the program, troll Flickr for likely suspects.  I found this very beautiful picture from Balboa Park in San Diego.  And it is now my wallpaper with the left half of it on my left monitor and the right on my right one.  I'm tickled.

And... it's free.  But there is a very politely worded request for donation.  This kind of clever, nicely behaved, easy software needs a reward, especially when it's voluntary.  So I click on it and it takes me to a screen that explains the author is trying to pay for his hosting fees and dev costs and shows how much he's gotten and how much he hopes to get.

I make a donation and only then realize that it's a whole system.  I typed in the URL after my PayPal went through and found Chip in.  Very very clever and very cool.

I love finding neat shit like this.
