susandennisSalumi salami is in the house. But it was not easy. There were about 5 people ahead of me in line. The last two moved away at the same time. The first woman behind the counter looked mean as a snake. The board advertised 3 cold sandwiches. I asked for the first one. Mean lady said: "We're out." I asked for the second one. "We're out." I asked for the third one and she said nothing but started moving. Pay dirt!
And then I went for it. I said I also wanted the meat, cheese, olive and bread platter, please. To do. The second lady - not at all mean - said she would get that for me right away.
Very weird but boy that place smells good. I also forgot they had cheese. I'm not going to wait so long next time. I'm going to pick a nice rainy day when, hopefully, no one else thinks to go and go back.
But, meanwhile, I have a giant sandwich that is at least two meals and a platter that will be good eating for at least another two. Nice.

Thursday is dryer vent cleaning day. They go around to each of the units and pull out the dyer and blow out the vent. We went 10 years before we ever had it done once and apparently it was a huge mess. Now they do it every 5 years. or maybe even more often. I forget.
I'm interested because my dryer is stacked on top of my washer in a closet barely big enough for the combo. There is a 240 ? plug behind that either the washer or the dryer plugs into and the other one is plugged into a regular extension cord which snakes out to a plug in the wall outside the closet. Not a good or safe arrangement but one I'm stuck with because I can't get beyond the logistics of fixing.
I need an electrician to come fix the plug. But, before he/she gets here I need to get the washer and dyer out of the closet. Not something I can do myself. Then once the electrician is done, I need to get the damn things back into the closet. And re-leveled. I haven't figured out how to get that all done much less coordinated.
I thought I'd start by seeing how much work was involved in actually getting them out and back in so I'm planning on watching these dudes on Thursday veeerry closely.
