Ready? Set? Change of Plan...

susandennisI ran out right after my conference call this morning to get to Home Depot and get the sliders before they got to me on the Blow Out The Dryer plan. Made it back in time.
I wasn't terribly worried. Ann figured their time budget was way off course and they wouldn't get to me until Friday morning. Boy, was she wrong and so was I.
They showed up at noon and were done in 15 minutes. No pulling out of closet required. I didn't even get to use my sliders. (I didn't open the package and did keep the receipt - I'll be making another HD trip soon.)
The guy on the top of the dryer blew the crap out to the guy on the terrace who had a net. They were very impressed. I had nearly twice as much lint as any unit they had seen so far!!! It was a proud moment.
I still have the electrical plug issue but now the building manager knows and he didn't get all freaked like I thought he would so I'm not as stressed as I was about it. Some day I'll need to hire an electrician for something and I'll call Ann's and figure out the moving in and out then. Maybe I should hold on to those sliders.
