What? No update since this morning???

susandennisIt's really only because I got no content. I mean, really, nothing going on. Work is semi busy. And bits of it are not making me smile but I am taking Thursday and Friday off and so stuff's going to really need to go South to piss me off this week.
I did get a fair number of chores done today. Hauling stuff down to the dumpster and then delivering a backseat full of goodies to the Goodwill. Oh and I got gas in the car.
See? The thrills are not exactly poppin' 'round here but things are good.

I remember so little from school. I hated it so much. But I do remember one geography teacher who stood with his pointer in front of the map poking at Africa and saying that most all of those countries had recently changed their names but that the whole name changing thing was over for countries because it was too expensive. "Making new maps costs money." I think I remember it because I couldn't believe a teacher could stay anything so stupid. I'm sure countries like Burma, Ceylon and Siam all wonder where the yellow went. And that's not even starting on all the 'stans.
These days when I hear about the monks in Myanmar, I think of that jackass.
