Week 33 - cardio
Oct. 29th, 2007 07:56 amI did 15 minutes on the treadmill - 5 with the elevation up - before I got the first twinge in my foot. So I stopped and switched to the bike. The bike is so boring. At about 8 minutes I remembered it was Monday and I was going to take Mondays off. I powered on to 10 minutes total and quit. I took 5 minutes of Monday off! ha.
The foot is fine and the knee feels way way stronger. It's a little uncomfortable after the 25 minutes but not all the way to hurt. I'm icing.
There was a bowl of halloween candy on the counter at the gym. It was a halloween bowl with a big old green hand sticking out of the candy. I peeked in to see if it was really real candy (and not tree bark and raisins or tofu something) and just as I peeked, the hand dropped down covering the candy and a witchy halloween voice comes out the bowl and starts to cackle. Perfect!!
