Yikes - where did the day go??

susandennisI had work work to do today and the possibility of more coming in so I got up early to get as much done as possible before Rosie. I did a lot. Then Rosie.
Then home to shower and off to 13 Coins for my Second Weekly 13 Coins Saturday Lunch. I have to say it was not quite the unmitigated success of last week. The waiter apparently had eye problems cause it sure seemed I was invisible. But, the food was soooooo good. I had a bloody mary today but I probably won't do that again. It was good but it would have been better had it been half or less than what they served me (and half or less than the price!). I considered ordering something other than eggs Benedict but decided to see if last week was a fluke. It was not. Another perfect plate. YUM. I am enjoying this new tradition.
When I got home there was, indeed, more work waiting for me and that's pretty much what I've been doing all day.
When I first got home from lunch, I was working on the computer and it dawned on me that I was not having to fight a cat off my keyboard and there was not one in between my legs. But, soon, I could hear one in the other room stirring about.
And here he came. With his favorite red toy. Tossing it up in the air and catching it and chasing it around. Travis is so much fun to watch. And he entertained himself for a good long while - so long, in fact, I was beginning to feel a little left out.
But, soon he came over to help and now it's, once again, my third leg here on the chaise.
He's such a wonderful fun kitty. I cannot believe he's only been here less than 6 weeks. Hard to imagine this place without him.
I think I may be close to done with work for the day. Time for some junk TV.
Sadly, I read yesterdy that one of my favorite junk TV shows 'Big Shots' will soon be no more. I really liked it. I should have known it was doomed.
