When I went to bed last night, I had 13 bugs in my queue. I only knew that none had to be done before today.

All bugs look alike in the queue. One could say 'drop this file in this folder'. And the next one could say 'create these 14 web pages from these 24 docs - combining the content on those that require it and re-size all the graphics to fit.'

I never know, until I open it, whether the bug is going to take me 5 minutes or 500 minutes.

Mostly one person assigns me the bugs. Her name is Anna and she is a dream to work with. She sets the priorities and works out all the kinks and deals with all the people and does the QA. She's very good and fun.

Yesterday we were both beat to shreds. She sent me a note about 4 with a couple of bugs that needed done yesterday and told me the rest could wait. This morning, I had a note from her at 7:30 that three needed immediate attention. I did those.

Then I just plowed through the other 10 and now I am done. Caught up. I have a little indicator app on my desktop that says I have 0 bugs waiting. Nice. Nice to get caught up. Nice to have already gotten so much done and it's only 10:30. This is good.

I need to make a Costco run and it would best be done before Friday. This is the time of year when you need to plan your Costco trips judiciously. If I'm smart, there's a chance I can combine all my Costco needs into one run this week that will keep me supplied until January. I'm going to try anyway. And, in fact, I may just do that today.
