susandennisNo insightful remembrances, no earth shattering revelations, no thrilling exploits to report. But, does that stop me from making an LJ entry? Heck No In A Swing!! (Brenda Vestal, who was in my class for much of elementary school used to say this all the time. Or maybe it was Linda Vestal. Yes, they were identical twins and really sweet. Wonder whatever became of them?)
It's the perfect day for snow here only it's about 15 degrees too warm and no moisture but really if it were cold and rainy, we'd have snow. We would.
Travis is here with me on the chaise. I'm working and he's napping and we're snuggled under a cheap furry lap robe I got at Sears a while back. We're mighty comfy. Betty is in her drawer in the fish room and I suspect she's delighted that neither on of us are bothering her.
Work is steady. Fix this page, redo that one, add this graphic, change that link. Nothing overwhelming and nothing I can't handle and all at a very nice pace. These are the days when I love love love my job. Even the four days off are helping. I am not at all stressed over the stupid things like I usually am (wordy content, ugly graphics, bad user interface). I get paid by the hour. If they want to pay me to ugly up their web pages, who am I to tell them no.
The Monday afternoon conference call during which one of the guys who works for my boss almost always pisses me off, got canceled.
Life is good. Really good. And if that snow would come, I'd happily offer a free upgrade to exellent.
