My blog friend Deb* left a comment on an entry I made yesterday and so I knew immediately that I had forgotten to lock it down! Sloppy.

I am not good at personal security. I don't even lock my front door a lot of times (I live in a very secure building). But, I do think that if I want to write openly about my job finding efforts (and maybe even, in the future, about my life on the job) prudence says, lock it down.

So I have a filter. If you have asked, you have been put in the filter group and can see everything. If not, and I remember to lock it, the nits and grits (and comments about the looks of interviewers) are hidden from view. I hope. And hidden from Google. And hidden from random folks who stumble on my journal.

And, sadly, hidden from Deb* who cannot be added to the filter because she doesn't have a Live Journal account. But, in this case I am ever so grateful to her for helping me figure out that I'd left the door open when I sure didn't mean to!

If you do have a Live Journal account and want to be included in the filter, just leave me a comment. My security procedures are lame but I should learn to stick to them!

Sadly, it's all G-rated... but you can get the snotty and the catty as well as the whining and the moaning - more than in the public version... just say the word and you are in...

And, now, if you'll excuse me... I must don my BlueJays poncho and go walk. And it's getting close enough to baseball season to cause me a little pause at wearing the enemy armour, but not enough to get wet over! (no double entendre there - maybe I should get some X rated stuff... hmmmm)

it's funny you mention that Blue Jays stuff -- they were modelling the new 2004 stuff on the news this morning -- right after telling me that Max is the number one dog name in Toronto. The stuff isn't out yet -- but I still have you penned in for a t-shirt when they go on sale!

But, please don't go the whole t-shirt route - it's too much! A key chain, yes... or something just little. I couldn't even wear a t-shirt out of the house in this neighborhood. I'm going to have to turn the poncho inside out starting next month!

Oh yeah, you're in. Not so juicy. It's just that I know the brother of the guy who interviewed me yesterday. Brother is really really cute and has always been a fun guy and a fun guy to look at. And gay. Guy who interviewed me is almost cuter, as it turns out, and, if memory serves, not gay. That was in yesterday's unlocked (not locked) post.
