This picture was on the front of my newspaper this morning and it stopped me in my tracks. Is there anything more beautiful than that little girl? [livejournal.com profile] androkles and [livejournal.com profile] ruralrob have been discussing beautiful things and I think this has to be in the competition. (And, keep in mind, I am not a child person at all.) I love her tiara but most of all that look on her face. Her mothers are getting married in Portland.

Of all the things that have been said and written about gay marriage - this picture should be the poster for why it is so important for same sex couples to be able to marry if they want.

Wow. She is beautiful plus she deklivers a great wallop of a message.

Aside from the political angle though she reminds me a lot of this little one I photographed last Halloween at our local school . . .

Thank you Susan. I'm not really a child person either but you have to admit that they are wondrous creatures. This one is a shining example.

I agree with you about the marriage thing. My personal feelings are clouded by my own experience. Sometimes it's beyond me why anyone should want to - well, this little girl knows why. That's really beautiful.

I swore it'd never happen:

[livejournal.com profile] susandennis made me cry.

In a good way. All 3 of them look awestroke and happy.

Thanks for this

This is the happiest, most contented sweet child that I have seen, EVER.

And her expression, looking up to the "official"...wow!

And to me, I tried, but I most certainly CANNOT determine which Mother...gave her life????

This is just so good....I think she should be the Poster Girl for a Cause!
