Spring is springing!

I went out to run errands and kept seeing signs of Spring... There was a guy filling the giant planters at Safeco (baseball) Field with pansies and then I got to the library and spied the action in the picture above.

This little house sits directly opposite the library door. It's a sweet little house clearly well cared for. There's a very very old Asian man who lives there and every Summer in that little patch between the sidewalk and the street, he grows corn!! It's the funniest thing to see - corn growing in the city. Every year I think it will be his last - cause as I mentioned, he's really getting on in years. But, today I see he is getting his corn field ready again. I must remember to get another picture about the end of July.
