Around here, generally, there is not much noise between 8 a.m. when I turn off NPR and 5 p.m. when I turn on the TV news. Ok, there are the vary rare times when I scream FUCK YOU! at the computer responding to an email or bug request. But, otherwise, it's very quiet in here.
Also at 5 p.m. just after the TV comes one, two cats get their daily 1/6th of a small can of wet cat food. I mean seriously, it is not enough to even bother with. There is plenty of dry food available all day long.
Today, however, the TV came on at 3:30. Guess who are standing side by side in the middle of the living room looking at me expectantly?
Pavlov has two great subjects in this house.

uh oh... the desktop computer just blue screened... hmmm it hasn't done that in a long while... guess I'll go log hunt.
