Gym Report - cardio
Apr. 27th, 2008 09:53 amWell! I was there right at 9 when the doors were supposed to open and three of my neighbors were already there hard at work! And the guy who is always always there every Sunday morning first thing was no where to be seen.
I did a good 30 minutes with one long (for me sprint). I wore my new glasses and could finally see the heart rate chart. It says that for someone my age, a vigorous workout should get my heart rate up to a top of 160. (1. I'm misstating probably and 2. I don't really care but when you are killing 30 minutes you tend to investigate even what you don't care about.) I got up to 155.
By the time I finished, the joint was getting pretty crowded. There's a Mariner game down the street at 1 and I suspect that folks figured it was better to get in and get out before getting here was a situation.
I did remember to turn on Roomba before I left but it got hung on something so I had to unhang it when I got back. No telling how long it has to go now. Hard to complain about something that is doing one of your most hated chores for you.
