Check, check, check

My list du jour is nicely checked...  I got all the sewing done and all the sewing shit put away.  Even with interruptions to stop and do work bugs.  How nice it is to be able to do both!

I have streamlined the getting out of the sewing machine and the supplies but it could use some more tweaking.  And... how is it that I have four boxes each with about 14 spools of thread and no pink and no brown.  I need to toss out the really ancient and replace with a nice, broad selection of colors.  My cheap little Brother machine behaved impeccably, bless its little heart. 

And I made some eyeglass sweaters out of the pajama pant legs.  Now I can keep a pair of computer glasses and a pair of bifocals right next to my chair in the same case without worrying that they will scratch each other.

When seattlejo brought me Toll House Cookie dough, she also brought treats for Travis and Betty.  One is from New Zealand which tickled my Kiwi friend no end.  But the other one is very strange thing called Dried Bonito Flakes - made by www.catmandoo.biz.  And both Betty and Travis will eat them and Betty really likes them!  I'm still on this quest to find something to bribe them with and Dried Bonito Flakes are coming close.  We're not to the point where I can rattle the box and they will come running but I think we could get there...
