TV mystery solved

susandennisSo... since I'm old and cranky and lazy, I sometimes have trouble hearing the dialog on the TV. So sometimes - for some movies or things like The Wire, sometimes I turn on Closed Captioning.
I could have sworn that when you mute my TV all the way, you get Closed Captioning on stations that provide it.
The Netflix Player does not have Closed Captioning. But, I thought if I muted the TV entirely (using the non-TV speakers for sound) the Captioning might magically appear. It didn't.
So I started fiddling with the CC settings.
Apparently, my TV thought I wanted to fuck with the Closed Circuit settings. The Front Door TV Network station is on a closed circuit.
My TV is not too bright, I think. But, once I set Closed Cationing to never, Closed Curcuit tv went back to its normal joyus self.
Oh! There's the mail man coming in with his goodies...
