Udon Day!!

It's a gift from winter past. A chilly, rainy day. And my way of saying thank you is a steaming hot bowl of wonderful shrimp udon from the deli across he street where the owner and I made up and sang a nice little song about it's being The Perfect Udon Day!! (It was early, he didn't have many customers yet. But, heck, he sold two more udon lunches before I left!)Work work work. This is my little break.
I think my Roomba maybe going back to the factory. iRobot is such a weird company. Roomba used to be able to do the whole condo in one pass without interruption. But, a couple of months ago it started stopping and telling me it wanted its brushes cleaned. Then it started doing it twice every day. This weekend's thorough cleaning - down to the gears - did not help.
So I sent a note to iRobot asking for tips on how to make it do the way it used to do. I got a fairly speedy reply with a list of how to clean steps (thanks, did that) and then it said 'if that does not fix the issue, please tell us which brush will not work and provide the following information:' Both brushes work, thanks. And the following information was name and shipping address, serial number, date and place of purchase. It is still under manufacturer's warranty. I sent them the info and told them the brushes seem to work fine but Roomba just want them cleaned too often. We'll see what happens.
I did buy an extended warranty from Sharper Image. That is likely not going to be worth the electronic paper it was not written on when they go out of biz but thems the brakes. I bought an extended warranty for my original Roomba and it paid off handsomely.
udon is udone. Time to get back to work!
