What about McRory's??!! This is a restaurant across the street that has been there since before the birth of Christ. It used to be ok and then it wasn't and I keep meaning to check and see if it is again. Their menu sure looks good.
I call and got a very nice articulate woman on the first ring who said she would be delighted to take an order for pickup. Chrispy Calimari and starter Ceasar Salad (with anchovies, thank you very much), please. 15 mins. We shall see. If they are good, I am going to be a lot poorer by the time the weather gets cool again.

I finally got the wheels for the table that my laptop is on. And they work great. The table is a C table that slides under my chair but even with slider thingies, it does not slide that easily. These wheels were a breeze to stick on and now it only takes one hand to slide it in or away. Nice. I first ordered these things six weeks ago. Two places took my order and then canceled it. The third place took for freakin ever to get the damn things here. But, they are here. All is good.

I've been thinking about branching out from teddy bears. Maybe knitting an elephant or monkey now and again. IF I can find the right patterns. I ordered up several used knitting books with patterns for toys. The first one arrived today. Great looking toys but crappy looking patterns. One reason I love my teddy bear pattern so much is that there is no sewing. Well, that's not true. I sew on the ears, the eyes and the nose. But that's it. The rest is knit in one piece. The animals in this books are knit in lots of pieces and then sewn together. Only if I get despearate.
