A quiet day...

My work pipeline seems to be constipated.   None coming through today at all.  While it won't make my paycheck happy, I'm enjoying the heck out of just doing this and that.  I've just done all the laundry.  I've done some digging for more audio books at the library (online) and downloaded my latest onto my Zen player.

I caught all of my finances up and reconciled them.  And while this next paycheck will be lean, the most recent previous ones were fat so I'm paid up with a cushion for now and fine if I don't get crazy. 

I do need to make a library run and a quick pop into the grocery but I wanted to eat lunch first.  It's so not good to make a quick pop into the grocery when you have a short list and are hungry!  I figured that cheese sandwich I just ate probably saved me $50.

My cold was a figment of my imagination, or chased away by prehistoric cold tablets, or is holding off for a while...  I don't know but don't care.  I'm fine without it.  But, artisanal_xara is correct.  It might not hurt to purge the old medicine chest.  In my quick foray in there yesterday I do remember seeing a cold remedy that I got last time I was in New Zealand.  That was in 1994, I think.   Maybe not that good to have your medicine chest filled with drugs nearly old enough to drive.  On the up side, how lucky am I not to have even known this or cared in all these years!

Ok, off to run errands.
