I'm glad you saw this (especially if you saw the one that brutally accused PocketLJ of ingesting my earlier posts)... I felt terrible having blamed the application .
What happened was that when I went to post the first entry, I think I lost my connection. I got no 'success' message. I flipped over to the LJ site (still on the IPAQ using the ever so robust PocketPC IE (grrrrr) and the post wasn't there. So I figured it didn't go. I sent the second entry in hopes it would poke the first one into posting.
Checking the journal page, again it didn't work. The third try, however, did (although I didn't get the 'success' message) somehow make all three appear.
The appology post netted the success message and appeared immediately.
Now, the problems could be 1) the not-too-solid connection from my neighbors wireless network 2) my unfamiliarity with exactly how the IPAQ works with the wireless network 3) that every so crappy browser 4) my inexperience with PocketLJ or the ever popular 5) plain old user error.
I think the whole thing would be much easier if my neighbors would boost their power or move their antennae a bit. I'd mention it to them but we've never actually met and I like to meet people before I start complaining about the network access I'm 'borrowing'.
