susandennisI had a 2 hour conference call today during which I managed to follow along and contribute to the meeting while knitting 2 teddy bear arms and 2 teddy bear ears and finishing him off. And... I got paid for it. I love my job.

My coffee pot has found out that I am going to go look at new ones later this week. This morning it started leaking. Ya gotta appreciate a coffee pot that tuned in to what's happening.

Front Door TV just showed me my friend, Ann, walking out by herself!!! I suspect she is taking her new knee down to the physical therapist who's office is at the end of the block in the same building where I worked for Start Up #2. She looks like she's really doing well. She's wearing shorts - showing off her scar.

My condo building has a beautiful lobby. There is a good deal of handmade tile work and a fun stone fountain with water spewing out from a frog and an arched entryway. It's really lovely and functional. And they are going to rip it all out and replace it with what looks to me like a truly Design Don't. Plus. In the elevator today is a notice that the construction work is to begin on 11/3 which means construction throughout the holiday season since I am sure they will never be able to finish in under 2 months.
I can't for the life of me figure out why anyone thinks the rework is needed. I do know that the people behind this mess are some of the most annoying people god ever made so that helps me remember that unless I plan to participate, I need to just shut the fuck up.
I do not plan to participate. In fact, I plan to not even complain about it. I am going to try and keep all of the whining confined to this paragraph and the two above it.
