Little ole broken link fixer...

susandennisIf Tom Lehrer was still writing songs (and, heck, what do I know... maybe he is), I'd bet he'd have a good one about my job today. I was peppered with emails.... 'this link is broken', these redirections are redirecting, can you fix this one little thing right now? How about this one? Everything came with little red explanation marks. The program manager who usually catches these is out until Tuesday and I think these folks are just nervous that their broken links and little nits might have to linger until then. No worries I'm a Whack A Mole machine.
I think I won't be going anywhere tomorrow and maybe not Friday. Saturday will work fine. And, if I don't go, it's no big deal.
I did remember to add something to my shopping list... I haven't quite seen the Halloween displays in stores yet - probably cause I haven't been anywhere in the past week or two... but surely we must be getting tantalizingly close to Candy Corn Season!!! Yeah, yeah, you can get candy corn year round here, too but it's not the same. That first bag of the season is the best and almost nearly as good as the ones I buy on November 1st and 2nd when the price drops.
I remember last year my man doctor was suggesting that I might want to lose a few pounds and I told him "So not possible in Candy Corn Season." I got blank for 1 second and then 2 and then he cracked up.
Bonnie Hunt has a talk show???? Wild.
