Gym Report - Nadia
Sep. 20th, 2008 10:17 amOh so much better!!! She had a nice program of mostly doable stuff with highly doable repeats expected with 'work towards' all spell out. Plus two that we did not get to that I can do on my own. Then, while she stretched my legs, she gave me a pop quiz. She read what was on the list she had made for me and I had to explain the exercise to her. That way I make sure I remember each one. It was just an excellent excellent session.
As we were wrapping up, I saw one of my neighbors - a really annoying woman from the 3rd floor who I had never seen in the gym before. Turns out she was Nadia's next. I think it may have been their first session - only 30 minutes. The woman has lived in this building as long as I have and I should call her Fixed Income woman. Whenever we have a meeting and they talk about money she always raises her hand to whine about how she's on a Fixed Income and can't pay.
At the meeting a couple of weeks ago for the new project going up in the parking lot, after the presenters spent an hour talking about concepts and neighborhood development and carefully explaining that building details and architectural specifications were not even started yet, she was the first to raise her hand when questions were called for. Her question "Will the buildings be brick?"
Time now for my shower. I have work work to do today I a short list of chores but most will be more pleasantly accomplished if I am not sweaty.
