More bits

I watched the final episode of The Wire.  Nicely done.  I am on the waiting list for Season 1 at the library.  It will probably be a year before my turn.  But, I would like to watch at least that year from the start with subtitles on.  Then maybe the rest again, too.  I rarely ever watch anything twice but this seems to want it.

I was thinking I'd go get catfish and hushpuppies for dinner but when it got dinner time, I changed my mind.  Maybe next weekend.  There's a really neat little place not too terribly far from here - Catfish Corner.  They do it right.

But, tonight we're having a pork chop and a twice baked potato.  Maybe some mushrooms, too.

I am on the hunt for the perfect Twitter client. 

- does not use Adobe Air
- does work on a windows machine
- has an audible alert (be great if it were either subtle or tailorable)
- allows entries
- makes replies easy
- creates small urls on the fly

Be cool if I could fiddle with the look (size/color) and it was well behaved.

There are a million and a half different Twitter clients out there but so far all I have found fail two or more of the bullets above.  Sigh.

At least once today I realized that I was just a little chilly, like get up and get a sweater chilly.  HEAVEN!!
