other bits
Sep. 23rd, 2008 03:56 pmI finally remembered to look up and see how much my dental insurance paid for my tooth grinding down/night mouth guard. They actually stepped up to the plate on the grinding down part. They paid about 85%. As expected, they totally blew off the mouth guard.
I paid half when I was the dentist's office and offered to pay all but they protested saying they would try the insurance first and bill me. That was six weeks ago. Not a peep from them. I only know about the insurance because I can check their website.
Glad no one is in a hurry here. Weird.

One of my work projects was recently (a month ago) turned over to a new project manager. The new project manager is working my very last nerve. If she uses the 'I'm new' excuse with me one more time, I'm going to simply explode. I'm now translating 'I'm new' into I'm clueless'. It makes reading the excuses a little easier.

I'm so happy to have new shows on TV. So happy.
---
The newspaper is now including ToDo Lists for the Mariners. Last night they lost their 12th straight game. They have 6 more games to play. Here's there list from the Seattle Times:
The M's need:
• 1 loss for a 100-loss season (first time since 1983)
• 2 losses for 14 losses in a row, tying team record (1992)
• 6 losses (and/or Nats wins) to clinch No. 1 draft pick
Pit - wait for it - iful.
