susandennisMy friend, Scott, just found this journal. I met Scott in about 1995ish when he found my web page. Back in the olden days there weren't many web pages and the 'how to build your own' articles said to write about what interested you. Having recently taken two trips to New Zealand, New Zealand interested me a lot. Scott lived in Dunedin back then. We corresponded for years and years. He came here to visit - his first trip to the U.S. He found is wife and married her about four years ago and they both came to visit a couple of years ago. They now live in Wellington. And are good people even if they do talk funny.

And, speaking of Scott... but this time Scott, the building manager... I got the entire skippy on the Front Door TV Network Festuche of last Saturday. Cellphone chippy is going to be fined something in the neighborhood of $300 and the owners (who are liable for the fine if chippy refuses to pay which I'm sure she will), will lose their permission to rent out their unit. I am glad to hear both. Renters are a real problem in this building - we do not have the budget to deal with the problems they cause.

I have the Tampa Bay/White Sox game on and I am having trouble getting used to those fancy motion graphics - the yardage they paint on the ground when a guy's on first, etc. But the one that really always gets me is the yellow ball that appears when they are trying to show where the pitch was. Invariably, it ends up right in the catcher's or the umpire's crotch. I expect to see the kyron scroll with something like 'Here's His Penis!!'
