Better - very better

susandennisLast night when I got up to pee, I felt way groggier than usual. And that same feeling persisted in the morning, at the gym and until mid morning. It was kind of freaky.
My mother had her first mini stroke when she was about my age. Other than genes and a rapier wit, we don't really share many characteristics. She was a champion tennis player until her mid-70's. Tennis is played outdoors a lot in very hot weather. So I don't. She was short. I'm not tall but I had her by 5" before she started her old lady shrinkage. She birthed 3. I birthed 0. She smoked unfiltered camels for 50 years. I smoked filtered cigarettes for only 40. Yeah, I know, I have no clue. But, I do think about it.
What does it feel like to have a stroke? How do you know? Are there any warning signs?

Work is slow again so I decided to go fix the candy corn situation. And get a couple of other things and make a library run. I did it all. I found a Stouffer's sale which was nice. And the grocery outlet had some sweet cheese deals. The first place I stopped for candy corn was OUT!! The guy stocking the candy shelves said he was really puzzled this year because he could not keep it in stock. So, see?! It's not just me. The only stuffy the grocery had was some bizarre off brand. I stopped at one more place and hit pay dirt. Nice.

The Mariners hired a new general manager. They did not pick the chick. They have been mulling over 5 choices for a few months now and one of them was female. That would have been so cool. But, of course, this is the Mariners. They have not done anything cool since Lou Pinella left. Oh well.

This cheezburger entry is NOT of Betty and Travis (I know but only because of the carpet), but i would have a hard time proving that in a court of law.
