Translation needed for the network impaired

tbone, help. Please. I just read about Line of Fire premiering on Sunday, May 30... Didn't I see this already? I always harbored the delusion that "premiere" meant first time. WTF?????

I really liked it the first time it premiered.... Is/was it a mini-thing like The D.A. was?

Is ABC just screwing with me for fun? Would you please make them stop? Don't they have better things to do??

I'm still waiting for a little more info from ABC myself on this thing. The one on 5/30 is an "ABC Premiere Event," which just means that it's a two-hour made-for-tv-movie. Kind of like what they did with "Judas" earlier this year. I haven't received any additional booking orders on this yet though. So that means that they might air more new LoF eps in June and July, or they might not. They might wait until fall, or there might not be any more ever. My guess: It will air in the time period currently held by "The Practice" in the summer.

Most people assume that I have 100% control over what goes out on our air, or at least that I know about 100% of what we do pretty far out in advance. The actual truth would surprise a lot of people.
