The Mariners play the Yankees this weekend. Ordinarily this would be a much anticipated series. But, since we can't beat anyone, it's hardly worth hoping we can beat the Yankees... Sigh. I looked this morning and discovered that we are not the worst team in baseball. I was amazed.

I am seriously behind in my Netflixing. I dropped to the lowest Netflix level - 2 at a time/4 a month and I'm not even maxing that out. I have the Hugh Grant and Lost in Translation right on top of my DVD player right now and I haven't watched either yet. Shame. This weekend. I will.

It's gotten so much hotter and dryer so much earlier this year. My friends in Silicon Valley are all whining like the people here. No jobs, situation terrible, etc. So I suspect that the two places are probably comparable. But, Washington state is a better place to live :)
