Hispanic Diabetic Soccer Lovers

It's the trifecta for Hispanic diabetic soccer lovers in this neighborhood today. In the Exhibition Center, next to to the football/soccer stadium, is having a Diabetes Expo. Under the stadium, they are having a Health Fair for Hispanics. And there's a soccer game. All crowds were converging as I walked by this morning. It was hard to tell who was with what group... I was thinking Olympics at Lourdes...

The sun stayed mercifully behind the clouds this morning so I just walked and walked. Did a little more than 5 miles.

The Mariner game is about to start. One of the benefits of living on the west coast is that on some weekends when we play on the east coast, you get your games - or in our case this year, your losses - done early in the day and out of the way.

After the game I think I'm going to venture out to check out a new yarn and fabric store (that I found out about from seattle. It's also one block up from a grocery store. Two birds, one stone - you get the drift.

I found a housecleaning answer, I think. I've corresponded with Mrs. Clean. They are more expensive that the woman I had before but I'm guessing it will be worth the extra money. I'll probably get them to come out next Saturday for the first time and then, after that, they can come while I'm at work. Probably once a month.

I had a cleaning man. He quit after getting his feelings hurt one day thinking Mark and I were talking about him when, in fact, we were talking about my boss.

I have been without for about three months and it is killing me. I'm tried to make up with him, but he told me "I'm too busy, I will come back in fall. Yes, maybe fall."

Screw that. I broke down and called Merry Maids. They are coming out Monday to assess the situation. I probably can't afford but once a month. Maybe twice if they are less than I think they will be.
