I think the new library is a different experience if you go when you are fresh and it is cool and there aren't a million and a half photographers (each with 4 suitcases of shit and a tripod blocking every path) and you don't have to pee.

It is freakin' huge and very confusing but it is amazing.

I did get a new PIN number so I can go online and tell them to hold any and all books I want and then just go and get them. I have a long list so this will work great.

But, I am beat to a pulp right now...

It was a pretty darn good experience yesterday anyways. Was it crowded at all today?
i'm hoping to pop in at lunch time one of the days this week.

Yeah it is a bit confusing, Did they have the "Guided Tour" Screens going? Those were amusing. I still need to post my pictures of the event.

There was a piece about the new Seattle library in the May 24 New Yorker. Seems like a really interesting building. The critic (Paul Goldberger) really liked it.
