Cats generally believe that their place is in between your face and whatever it is you are reading. Jake is an over achiever. He does that but also makes sure he is in between me and my knitting. This was 10 minutes ago. The red is my shirt. What a face.

My cat Wonton does the same thing. It makes me bananas. She is a 13 year old Siamese that is so fat she can't wash herself good and she waddles everywhere.

Jake used to be a two ton tank but he's lost a lot of weight as he's gotten older which has really helped my lap a lot!

With a face like that, how could you ever make him get down? Of course, Jake probably knows that and uses it to his advantage!
