And more...
May. 29th, 2004 08:47 pmAfter the Mariners beat Boston... you need that again? Ok, the Mariners beat Boston. What a nice ring that has to it...
Anyway, I did my walk. To the library along with, it seemed, every other soul in Seattle! It was packed. They even had a stroller parking lot outside! But, inside, the only line that wasn't football fields long was the hold line! So I stepped up and presented my card and the nice lady went off to find my now 9 books. She came back with 3 and was very distressed that she couldn't find the others. She called in her supervisor and they both looked and finally I allowed as how I really could come back. They apologized all over themselves. I said that I was a bit worried about the pickup date on one of them and could they extend it and the supervisor said 'of course! and, again, I'm so sorry!' After last week's encounter, it was almost comical!

Tonight I finally watched Love Actually. Hugh Grant is so Hugh Grant. I was a fun film.

Sounds like the guy who gave you a hard time at the library the previous time was just a jerk, and not a representative of library policy.
Hugh Grant is so Hugh Grant.
Does he ever play anyone else?

I would be very disappointed if Hugh Grant played anyone but Hugh Grant.
