I need an accountant. But not a serious, strict, mean accounant. I want one I can email questions to and who will advise me and not dictate. Tell me what I should do and let me decide. I have no clue where to find this person.

Tonight I paid my quarterly taxes. I tried to noodle out the instructions but I have no idea if I'm even close. I sent the government a wad of cash. I hope they are happy. I guess I'll worry about it again next quarter. I'm the Scarlett O'Hara of tax payers.

I finished my latest afghan tonight and have the next one planned but I think I'm going to do at least one pair of socks first and maybe more. It's getting a little too warm to be knitting on big heavy blankets.

The Mariners are fighting themselves tonight. It appears that Toronto would like us to win this game but we are just not sure. Baseball is so frustrating this year.

Last year I did our estimated taxes for the first time, and I overpaid them, but that's ok cause I just held it over and have to pay them lots less this year.

Turbo Tax will help you next year with estimated tax.

Find a good friendly CPA and tell them exactly what you want (advice mostly) Let them know you are willing to pay for it. Also, the IRS website is surprisingly informative.

I meant if you use Turbo Tax it will do it automatically next year. It will probably figure it this year with your input.

I know you are smarter than the IRS Site. It is very easy to (I think) fill in your forms, or download them at best.

Easier than you think.

I need that accountant, too. I'm willing to pay, too. I use turbotax (when I file - I am awful) and I have used the IRS site but those are for regular folks. I am way past that, could use some advice. Specific to me.

I'm sure you aren't in anything like the hot water I'm in, but still it makes me feel better knowing of others who are maybe a little crazy when it comes to taxes.
