It's lovely and cool here today. Even though I've been inside all day I know this because 1) it was lovely and cool when I came in this morning, b) the sun hasn't come out to screw it up and iii) everyone is bitching about how cold it is.
"You just aren't on the same page as everyone else are you?" A guy I used to work with said that to me one day. He wasn't making a value statement but just an observation. And his comment runs through my head a lot - especially on days like this when everyone is complaining about the weather.
My house cleaners are coming on Monday. I'm having them come every 3 weeks. The next time, then, would be on July 5. I sent the guy an email today asking him what their plans were for houses they normally clean on Mondays and he said they would be cleaning on July 5. Interesting. He did ask if that would be ok. And I said sure. I can disappear for a couple of hours.
I need groceries. I think it's time for another Albertson's delivery. It's the only way I can be sure of finding enough 2-liter bottles of Diet Dr. Pepper. The stores are always out. Plus when they deliver they do the hauling. Nice. I think I'll have 'em come Saturday.
And, that about wraps up the excitement of my life today. Oh and the Mariners are off so no losses today!!
