Knitting for Babies

One of my friends told me yesterday that she is pregnant. And I'm delighted. I'm glad for her but for me, it solves a big personal problem. I'm a rabid knitter. I always have a project going. For the past year or two it's been afghans. But, they can be rough Summer knitting - they get so big and while it's great to have a lap cover that you are knitting on in the Winter. In the Summer, it's a problem. So, this Summer I can knit nice, little, Summer friendly baby things. It's so considerate of her to time her pregnancy to solve my knitting problem.
