It's official. I'm a Looser.

susandennisWhen last I was in contact with Nadia, she was responding (two days later) to my text message asking where she was and why she did not keep our training appointment for the second week in a row. She texted me that she was on vacation in Alaska. I asked her to please, when she got back, confirm to me via email when she will be having our next training session. She texted (I hate that as a verb) me back that she would.
I found out today from neighbor Ann, that Nadia is back from vacation and was working with her Monday clients at the gym yesterday (and, according to Ann, had a great trip). I have not heard a word. Not a 'sorry', not a reply to my email from last week asking where she was, not anything.
And I am pissed. I am really pissed.
I am pissed that she has now created an environment where I will no longer enjoy using my favorite trainer. I really like having a training for 30 minutes once a week. But, I don't like it well enough for this kind of thoughtless and insulting behavior. And it really stings a little more than it should because I really thought she enjoyed my company and enjoyed training me. But, clearly, she doesn't enjoy it enough to want to keep doing it.
Crap on a stick.
This has been a great summer for people flaking out on me. And, yes, I am taking it personally and assuming it's something in my character that is causing it. Even knowing that, however, does not make it any easier to swallow.
